Great built! Very inspiring and motivating....only 4 days to completely finish it, it's absolutely great! Regarding the transparent wing tips, are they probably doing that to help in painting the navigation lights?

Nice Sabre. Re metallics, I use Aclads over their own gloss black primer and have never had a problem with paint lifting.

Nice work. I wonder why model makers never include the port side canopy sliding window. That would be a fantastic detail to add.

I really like the 'dirty' effect you used with the oils......it certainly does a great job of emphasising panels and providing weathering at the same time. Terrific final reveal, Luke. I also just finished watching the 'Rufe' video....another stellar job!!

Simply gorgeous! Is this an older kit? Only reason I'm asking it that I am about finished with my 1st ever 1/32 aircraft from Tamiya (having done a few dozen of their kits in 1/48) and I had no fitment issues or seams and gaps to deal with. The precision of the 1/32 F4U-1A is off the charts good. Some parts fit so precisely and tightly that they almost snap into position on their own. Once or twice I had parts that would not fit because the mating surfaces had airbrushed paint on them, sheesh!

Probably the most underrated cold war jet ever created.

USAF was at a transition point so technically the earlier insignia isn't totally incorrect!🤔 Jman

I would suggest sealing base metallic coat before masking I use testors metalizer sealer which I bought lotsa bottles of before it was discontinued.😁 Jman

The B24 while parked had the ball turret retracted into the fuselage. Only once it has become airborne did it deploy into lowered position. It had to be this way because of the tricycle landing gear. Idk if you encountered any problems with affixing it due to the design aspect.

Great paint job and build. I'm new to Eduard - putting together a Wolseley bi-plane by them, very impressed by the quality.

I built an Airfix model of this in about 1958 and at 11 years old was bold enough to do it without wearing gloves.

Im newish to scale modelling and about to start a Tamiya De Havilland Mosquito kit. It’s my first aircraft build with a detailed cockpit and after some advice/tips Do you generally assemble the entire cockpit/subassemblies first and then prime/paint or do you divide it up and assemble after painting? And do you use a primer on everything or just large surfaces e.g wings and body etc?

Amazing video and model. I'm just returning to modelling making, which gloss varnish did you use to seal the decals before weathering? Is it a water based one? That resists the heavy alcahol thinners? Please help haha!

Great job, I'm still working on the Tamiya P-51B that I started two years ago. Annoyed that I can't get anything done.

Your final reveals are so dramatic....made so and enhanced by the incredible soundtrack....I love it! Excellent work, a most enjoyable watch and tips galore.

It's a splendid build and I'm thinking of buying that kit for myself. Hopefully the decals include an RAF colour scheme as scores of Liberators served in the RAF due to the Lend-Lease Agreement and I prefer them in RAF livery..

I visited Hannants a few years ago and wondered around the front office pretty unimpressed until one of the staff mentioned the warehouse at the back. WOW...it was like going into Raider of the Last Ark model warehouse floor-to-ceiling boxes of kits!!!
